Texas Endocrinology group was founded in 2007 by Dr. Boccalandro after a few successful years in academic medicine at McGovern Medical School (former UT Houston medical School) Since our beginnings, our objective has been to give outstanding and personalized care to our patients. We strive to make sure each of our patients is cared for with dignity and respect and we make sure that our patients receive the latest advances in medical care. We are located in the heart of the medical Center, the largest in the world, and team up with the best physicians, hospitals and academic institutions that surround us in this amazing health care environment.
Due our passion for excellence, our demand has driven the expansion of our practice over the years and in 2018, we have become affiliated with Privia Medical Group, a multi-Specialty, national medical group. This increases our options and expands the opportunity to provide top medical care to our patients without losing our independence and capacity of decision making and remaining an independent practice.
We are a solid team comprised of three endocrinologists along with medical personnel that can take care of all our patient needs. We are specialists in endocrinology care and treat all aspects of endocrinology. The practice provides a full range of services including diabetes care, insulin pump management, thyroid diseases, ultrasound and ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration of the thyroid, thyroid radiofrequency ablation and dynamic hormonal testing among others. We also provide first class consultation for local as well as nationwide and international patients. Our physicians and office staff are all fluent in both Spanish and English.
