Notice for patients of Dr. Anisha Gupta

Dr. Gupta’s last day at Texas Endocrinology Group will be September 1, 2023.  Starting June 13th she will transition to two days a week, so her availability will be limited.  If you have appointments with her after June 13th, it is possible that your appointment may need to be moved or cancelled. We will try to arrange for these changes as soon as possible.  If you wish to continue care with Dr. Gupta going forward, please email her at AGuptaEndo@gmail.com.

After September 1, 2023, Texas Endocrinology Group will not be able to refill any medication requests or complete any lab orders unless you have established care with another provider at Texas Endocrinology Group.  The providers at Texas Endocrinology Group are unable to accept patients for Weight Management. To avoid any interruptions in your care, we strongly encourage you to establish care with Dr. Gupta in her new practice or with another physician.  Medical Record authorization release forms can be obtained through your patient portal or by speaking with a staff member at the front desk.

If you would like to maintain your medical care at Texas Endocrinology Group, please see the front desk to coordinate your follow up.

Thank you for your patience as we work through this transition period.

Thyroid RFA in Houston: Dr. Cristina Boccalandro

Thyroid Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)

Texas Endocrinology Group is pleased to offer the latest advances in non-surgical treatment options for thyroid nodules, with thyroid radiofrequency ablation (RFA).  RFA is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure that uses heat generated, medium-frequency current to shrink benign thyroid nodules.  Performed in-office, under local anesthesia, RFA is a relatively painless procedure and an advantageous alternative to surgery as it maintains normal thyroid function.  To learn more about this procedure or to schedule a consultation with Dr. Cristina Boccalandro at Thyroid and RFA Center for Excellence, please click here  for more information.

Your best protection from COVID-19 will be a combination of getting a COVID-19 vaccine, wearing a mask, staying at least 6 feet away from others, avoiding crowds and washing your hands often.  No one tool alone is going to stop the pandemic.  To learn more about the benefits of the vaccine and help you answer questions you may have, watch the video below.
